Symphony of Life

A gas giant orbiting in the habitable zone of a sun-like star. Many of the moons that might otherwise be mere balls of ice and rock are instead Earth-like with varying amounts of water. Some have continents with tectonics created by the tidal forces of gravity while others have only small islands or no land at all. All of them have life, some of them perhaps sharing common ancestry as asteroid impacts sent debris carrying hardy microbes from one moon to another. None of them have sapient life, these lush moons being untouched by civilization; or at least for the moment. These majestic orbs circle their parent planet in a silent symphony of life.
